Spring Break Casualties

Well, as mentioned before, Spring Break was this week and everyone was home. The Hubby is building a fence, and was mostly outside working. This left the kids and I with a lot of unscheduled time at home. So, how to fill the time?? Well, Buddy discovered a new hobby. Antagonizing his sister--constantly. Sissy is sitting quietly on the couch? Time to sit next to her and kick her with your feet till she runs off screaming. Sissy playing with the dollhouse? Time to get out the big dinosaurs and crunch everything, sending her off into tears. The best one was how he convinced her to sit still while he took the safety scissors to her hair, (pretending to be Mommy cutting bangs), until her hair was in strings and Mommy had to take her in to get it fixed (she now has a pixie cut, here's to it growing out quickly!) School can't get started too soon!

The Beginning

The beginning starts with life with three kids, all under five. I call them "the Gang." I often feel like a gang of sorts as we decend upon the grocery store, playgroup, or grandma's house. Watch out, here comes a Mom and her Gang! Get out the big grocery cart, put away the breakables, and get the snacks ready. Here we come! Full of curiosity, loaded with energy and ready to play at all times. This Blog is about our adventures in modern-day family life. It's going to be a blast!
